三国时期，东吴孙权身边的名将张绂，是个非常有才华的人，不但能写诗，还擅长作赋。当时著名的文学家陈琳是他的同乡，陈琳著有《武库赋》，张绂看过后非常欣赏，便写了封信称赞陈琳的文才。陈琳回信说：“我在河北，几乎与天下隔绝，这里写文章的人少，容易被人注意，所以不是我文笔好，是你太夸奖我了。我和你及张昭两人相比，实在差得太多，就好比是小巫遇见大巫，法术便无法施展一般。”
